Evanescence came to the great white north on an eight date tour across Canada in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the album “Fallen”, bringing along with them Halestorm and The Warning.
Evanescence first emerged on the international music scene in 1994, founded by Amy Lee and Ben Moody. “Fallen” was released in 2003, producing two powerful songs that smashed the radio rock charts, “Bring Me To Life” and “My Immortal”. Fallen went on to sell more than four million copies worldwide, and earning the band two Grammy awards. Listening to Evanescence, you might describe them as a cross between gothic alternative metal and hard rock. To date, the band has released five albums with the latest being “The Bitter Truth” (2021).
Halestorm is a rock monster in their own right. Fronted by Lizzy Hale with her brother Arejay, Joe Hottinger and Josh Smith the band has toured consistently since their beginning. The group won a Grammy in 2012 for “Love Bites (So Do I) from their “Strange Case of” album. With five studio albums in their discography so far, Halestorm is currently on tour in support of “Back From The Dead”. After this Canadian swing, the band starts a U.S. tour in the New Year followed by a European tour with Iron Maiden in late spring of 2025
The Warning is a family rock band, launched by the Velez sisters in Mexico. The band currently enjoys a five album deal with Lava Records, and enlisted Toronto native, David Bendeth, a multi-platinum award winning record producer, for all their recordings so far. The Warning’s current release, “Keep Me Fed” from June, 2024 is their fourth album. The band scored a number one position on the U.S. rock charts with “Keep Me Fed” and Canadian audiences got a taste of that new release on this triple bill tour.
