Cruisin' The 50's - 60's - 70's Rock and Roll Festival presented by Millpond Music And Entertainment at the Stirling Fair Grounds - Stirling, Ontario This is the fourth year for the Cruisin' festival sponsored by Millpond Entertainment. This themed event attracts all ages for a very entertaining three day festival featuring local favourites, tribute shows, and 50's - 60's bands with camping available! This year's highlights include Outskirts - A Celebration of Blue Rodeo, the return of rockabilly favourite, Nicholas Campbell and the New Metre Cheatres plus the return of Bentwood Rocker and Ed's Garage to mention a few. Ottawa Valley Stomp Music Festival Petawawa Civic Centre, Petawawa, Ontario This first time event covers the history of the Valley with Lumberjack competitions, a Ribfest, Poutine trucks on site, a Buttertart competition, and an amazing music lineup with Honeymoon Suite, The Box, The Mudmen and East Coast Experience and Whiskey Jack - Stompin Tom Tribute to get things warmed up. And this festival is only a 90 minute drive from Ottawa, and reasonably priced for this kind of an event with camping available! Line Spike Frontenac Harrowsmith Road, Sydenham, Ontario The first year event with an all Canadian feel to it should be worth the trip alone. This line up includes catchy pop artists - Guess Who founder - Burton Cummings, Walk Off The Earth, Glass Tiger's Alan Frew with Rewind, Chantal Kreviazuk, comedian/musician Tom Green, upcoming artists, Kelsi Mayne and Madison Galloway with local favourites, Kasador and Luscious. The 1000 Islands Regatta 2 Blockhouse Island Parkway, Brockville, ON Fast boats, faster boats and a weekend of great music is on the menu this weekend in Brockville for the 17th Annual Hydroplane Festival. This is a great family fun event with Hydroplane Racing, great live music and a kids zone with food and retail vendors on site. Base 31 Picton, Ontario Prince Edward County has a new music destination for some of the best touring acts in the country. When you visit Base 31 for music, you will likely target the Drill Hall or the Sergeants Mess. It all depends if you prefer to rock it out with a packed house of friends, or a more intimate setting with more direct enjoyment. Some highlights this summer at the Drill Hall include: Blue Rodeo, Stars, Dean Brody. Peterborough Music Fest Del Crary Park , Peterborough, Ontario Every summer since 1978, the Peterborough Music Fest offers eight-weeks of free admission concerts that showcase renowned musicians in a beautiful gathering place at the end of the rapids (Nogojiwanong) on the shores of picturesque Little Lake. Ottawa Bluesfest Lebreton Flats - Ottawa, Ontario Beginning back in 1994 at Major's Hill Park, this Ottawa festival has expanded over the years with eight different music stages, and attracting over one million music fans for a now established music festival in Canada's capital. EMPIRE ROCKFEST Downtown Belleville, Ontario Not a summer goes by when Quinte music fans wonder what's going at Rockfest!!
