Local Heroes In Music - The Official Tour Activity Book c.2026
Local Heroes In Music is a recreational creation that includes colouring pages, crosswords, word searches and other fun things to do.
The books use colour page images of area musicians taken in performance by The Photo Roadies crew. This product in particular is being designed and developed with all proceeds being returned back to local charity such as food banks and homeless support centers.
Exact number pages to be determined but local advertisers and sponsors are welcome to join us to maximize our print run and contribution to the charities of choice while we finalize things such as the actual cover we plan to use. Our planned release date is late September/2026

The Story Behind "The Official Tour Activity Book"
The activity book was designed by Stuart Roberts of The Photo Roadies based on a concept tried and tested with the original introduction of "Overtime - The Hockey Fun Book" successfully copyrighted and marketed with hockey teams in the Central Junior Hockey League and tournaments in eastern Ontario in 1997 - 1998. Through his company - SPORTING THOUGHTS and supported by advertisers such as PEPSI, The Museum of Science and Technology, Giant Tiger, Burger King, Pizza Pizza, Subway, Colonial Furniture and Sport Chek over 3,000 books were delivered to ten teams in the CJHL for distribution on Kids Day at no cost to the hockey teams. Similar copies were also developed for baseball - "Triple Play", "Head On" for soccer and in golf - "Bump 'N Run" - all copyrighted with the Government of Canada. "The Fun Book" was copyrighted in 2010. "The Official Activity Tour Book" being used for Local Heroes - In Music was registered for copyright in January/2026
Using the same elements of "The Fun Book", Stuart has re-developed this form of entertainment using photograph stock images of performers captured in performance by The Photo Roadies - with permission to use granted by the performers in the depicted works. With the resurgence of activity books among adults, and children of all ages, we hope you take a liking to this new form of screen free entertainment that can be taken and enjoyed anywhere with a little bit of elbow room. With new versions in the works, we'll be exploring downloadable PDFs and expanding our horizons with variations of "The Fun Book" while copyrighting to protect our work for distribution in Canada.
